Galway as poor as I can remember in my lifetime. A serious rebuild was always on the cards but looks even more worrying after today.

He’s the only one I think that will make anything of that bunch. And that’s where we are at. He’s got the job of finding replacements for the Mannions and Whelan in the starting line up as they are near the end of their tether. Lot of ‘‘established’’ lads not good enough such as Concannon and Fintan Burke and relying on C Cooney and J Flynn to come on. Underage neglected for years and now we are paying the price.

Some Wexford highlights coming up after the ads on the Kilkenny-Galway coverage according to Joanne.
Donoghue is a good manager and should be let manage, albeit he seems to have inherited an ailing squad.
I always felt his achievement in winning the 2017 All-Ireland was almost surpassed by getting that squad on the same page and working together. The ability was always within them but personalities and club bitterness had held them back for too long.
It’s not quite a return to page 1 but he has a job ahead.

God no. Sure why would they show that?
No. The GGA justify it by saying there’s more inter-county coverage than ever before, even though provincial schools junior c games are streamed. Baffling stuff in the INTERNET age. LOI TV has all premier & first division games every week, for example. It’s incredible you can’t buy a county season pass & have online access to all your games. I think they expect people to actually go to games, it’s obscene.
