Think Wexford can feel slightly aggreved with the ref here over the last few minutes. Touhy got a free out for a debatable push in the back while Rory O’Connor clearly pushed when down over the ball and he gives a sideline ball against him

This ref is dire blowing everything. Average enough from us and we’re beaten on the ground a lot, just way better forwards. Not over thpugh. Tuohy messing with the helmet again but took a few hard digs from morris before it.

I felt Galway were much better off breaking ball and second ball. Wexford sloppy enough in picking the ball and being punished. They look nervous in some of their play. Some awful shooting and shot selections.

Galway not as direct from open play, more from the puckouts and placed balls. They’re dropping bodies back the field and getting lots of pressure on Reck and the other Wexford runners when they try to break up the field. Wexford have hit a few bad wides as well, this could easily be closer.
I’d say they’re as bad as each other for fouling, only Galway can get more of an impact in their challenges.
I suppose we have the lads to take scores immediately off winning a break so it looks good but a few of these long puck outs have fallen into 50/50 balls and wexford have won them. No physicality allowed at all in though, tuohy is a liability on a card id take him off. We are definitely looking for goals but im not sure was there a reason to change the formula.
