I’m not sure. I think Schmidt will follow the Henshaw model. Look to see him regularly involved with Leinster then start bringing him into training squads first.
What is going for him is that it should be abundantly clear at this stage that Fitzgerald and Earls are not 13’s despite multiple attempts to make them so. We need to move on from that.
He’s already been brought into Ireland camps afaik.

He’ll need to be given gametime at 13 for Leinster though. At the moment they seem to favour Teo but that doesn’t do anything for the national team. A potential centre partnership of Henshaw and Ringrose is something we should look to have in place in about 2 years.

I hope he doesn’t go like Luke Fitzgerald and is just put on the wing and gets shunted around. He needs to learn the pro game from 13 as much as possible.
