The greatest knock out competition in rugby is up and running for 2019. A closer than expected opening round examination for the reigning champions with the 69 times winners, Blackrock College prevailing 25-19 over Presentation Bray.
Terenure College saw off St Mary’s College 13-5 in the opening match.
Terenure are very decent.
John McClean has them well groomed for success. They’ll die hard.

Pres making a bit of a comeback is good news. They have a programme set up with some of their feeder schools.

I think they’re there most years. They don’t get the automatic slot anymore which was a waste of time for them in the first place.

They’re only 5 years in existence. Their 1st sixth year class starts September 2019. They’ll be a force.
Hopefully. Good for Pres as well who have taken the back seat excuse of being a free school for a few years. Both should liven up the Junior Cup at least.
