I see mulligan is top scorer in the league so far with 1-37
I hear we have nothing to worry about from the new york boys,a shambles is how one player described their camp at the minute

Stick to the Amstel DB you’ll be fine, after talking to a few NY panel members I think we should win by 10+,they have a few injury and at least 4 narrowbacks starting and their fullback line is very suspect we should get a few goals if our lads have their shooting boots on

Team selection for Gaelic Park is as follows:
1 Cathal McCrann Gortletteragh
2 Alan Wynne Allen Gaels
3 Fabian McMorrow Melvin Gaels
4 Paddy Maguire Glencar Manorhamilton
5 Danny Beck Mohill
6 Gary Reynolds Carrigallen
7 Wayne McKeon Ballinamore Seán O’Heslin’s
8 Tomas Beirne Eslin
9 Darren Sweeney Glencar Manorhamilton
10 Paul Brennan Melvin Gaels
11 Emlyn Mulligan © St Brigid’s
12 Gerry Hickey Glencar Manorhamilton
13 Kevin Conlon St Patrick’s Dromahair
14 James Glancy Glencar Manorhamilton
15 Robbie Lowe St Mary’s
A number of slightly dubious selections. Ciaran Egan has been omitted from full-back, Ray Cox fails to find a berth at corner forward and Robbie Lowe is included at corner forward (presumably to add muscle).
I’d have gone for Shane Moran at 14 ahead of Glancy who’s star has waned but such as it is.
We’ll have 8-10 to spare just the same…
Doubtless TDB is in Rory Dolan’s as I type…Enjoy it DB.
NY are a fairly big team boxty and will be throwing themselves around early on Cox will be a good man to bring on later, we must have a few injuries cause that’s nowhere near the team I thought would start,I’d say DB is in jp Clarke’s or Ned devines fair play to him
I was there in 2003 for the game. Was in McKeon’s on Saturday in the early afternoon (bought a $10 ticket in some in-house draw).
In Rory’s later on till the place reached bursting point and fucked off back to the comfort of McKeon’s. Imagine my “comfort” when I was handed $500 from the draw/raffle…
JP Clarke’s is a top notch boozer.

Rorys is full of bullshitters and tossers
A mate of mine sort of built the place in terms of the woodwork sections (counters, facades etc.) so I was dutifully dragged along to inspect. The place was heaving, the service was brusque and not for me. Not while $500 was un-wittingly awaiting in McKeon’s.
A pair of Reynolds lads from Farmer’s territory have a convivial boozer on 59th St.
I hope the man from the junior club doesn’t let us down tomorrow…
Cue howls…
Its a fine building boxy I’m talking about the staff/clintele

I probably know this builder,I hear Frankie O has taken over the bar in Gaelic park long term
We might be at different topics here Massey. Doubtless a fine establishment, but on the night in question there was some “do” related to Aughavas or Cloone taking place. Can you visualise hundreds of ex-pats from these outposts congregating in New York, not to mention the hordes of muldoons out for the week…What with fuckers of Aughavas origins roaring for “large bottles of Guinness off the cooler” how do you feel the bar staff felt??
A souless dollar printing factory IMO. A former clubmate of mine, Frankie Dwyer, has a few tidy boozers called
“The Playright”(1,2 & 3) in money-spinning locations. Frankie is the ultimate in “alright sorts”.
See post above
Recognise the avatar Massey…
Goes with the sig…
Rumours are flying, but a source close to Boxty indicates that Mulligan and McKeon have suffered threatening injuries at training today. Ankle issues I’m told.
This along with last nights misadventure where 3 first choice players were struck by a cab in the vicinity of Rory Dolan’s doesn’t auger well…
