I was tied up all afternoon with the arrival of an additional grandchild (female) and hence failed to attend. Reports gleaned from patrons of a licensed premises indicated that without the introduction of Adrian Croal at half-time we were fucked.
A local guru charmingly said that as we were already in the final we were saving ourselves for next weekend (as if).
It was clear from reports that whatever the Mossy Beirne/Darren Sweeney/Shane Moran selection claims at midfield the ideal partnership should be Wayne Mac and Paddy McGowan. From what I’ve seen thus far this year I’m in agreement.

If the Connacht Council have any value at all on this competition then it should be played in The Hyde, the spiritual home of Connacht football. Otherwise, toss of a coin. I’d prefer, if we had the option, to eschew Pairc Séan and go for Ballinamore…
