Leitrim Football 2014

Half Time

Aughawillan 0-9 St Mary’s 0-4

The Willies 0-13 to 1-6 up at moment

:eek::eek:

0-13 to 1-8

1-13 to 1-8. A minute left

The Willies win 1-13 to 1-10

Well done to The Willies, the Mucky Duck is the place to be tonight. A fine young team with a big future unlike some of their past c’ship winning teams who were carrying a fair rake of battle hardened cynical veterans.

How good is this Morgan Quinn lad Boxty? I saw him play an Intermediate final against Drumkeerin a few years back and he looked a player. Presumably he is related to Mickey, Jerome, Maeve etc?

son of Jerome is he not?

He is indeed a son of Jerome’s, the likeness ends with the looks though. A fine prospect, expect to see him in the green and gold in 2015 and have an extended run with the seniors. The probability of a Fenagh Chairman can only be good for county prospects to boot.

Not an ex player similar to Jerome Quinn - i.e. tache wearing, corner back, utterly filthy?

We’ve had combinations of all 3, singles, doubles but never the complete treble. Perhaps it was a corner forward you’re thinking of and you may be correct with the first tw, but I’m amending the 3rd. criterion to “robust”…The current VC of the CB is the man in question.

That’s who I was referring to.

I’m disappointed with you Boxty that you would have anything to do with that ‘so bad he’s beyond a cunt’.

There’s always 2016 lads.

I presume he plans to throw his lot in with Dublin when he returns then.

If wouldn’t make the Dublin team bud

Ah he’d do a job off the bench handing out water maybe?

It’s hard to take anything positive from that news.

Christ.

I seem to be using that word a lot when it comes to Leitrim football.

except if you’re Emlyn Mulligan…
