I know that lad,but we seemed to shoot the load very quickly the last couple a years, ill take another trophy any day of the week but if we cant keep it goin without half the panel being injured by easter its not much use

Reports that Wayne McKeon or non of the Beirnes were even called up for trials.

We’re going with youth

Paddy maguires away to canada as well,i thought mckeown had made himself unavailable

Yes according to an interview with Ward in this week’s Leitrim Observer.

how many adults play gga in leitrim?

86

The U21’s are playin clare tomorrow

Lookit’ here, we’ll do fuck-all. The same old story of diminishing resources (money and desire) allied to an ever uselessy imaginative County Board.
Established players are numb to progress, wanting the likes of Brolly, O’Rourke or Spillane to take the reins. These cunts wouldn’t train a pig to be dirty, they’d hardly improve Leitrim’s fortunes. Luxuries such as the Beirnes ought be cut from the panel with immediate effect, entertaining players from non-senior clubs ie: Ballinamore to cease with immediate effect and focus to be diverted to the line south of Drumshanbo.
All clubs north of this line (Drumshanbo/Carrick) to seek asylum elsewhwere. Henceforth to be known as the Boxtyeater Line…

I was reading an interview with Shane Ward in the Observer there. He names only a handful of players returning to the squad and only a handful stepping up from U21s. It’s not clear where the rest are coming from. No mention of Gilheaney from the Willies at all. It’s hard to see where the X Factor will come from.

Ye it will be interesting to see who lines out tomorrow

Yerra It will all come right on the day

No game for the U21’s today looks like Clare didnt travel

Nothing to be gained playing the likes of clare anyway
