Leitrim Football 2015

Bueacas le dea

Who wrote that match report, @thedancingbaby? Probably a pensioner judging by the mentions of lads kicking “fifties”.

John Connolly of the Leitrim Observer mate.

I’ve no idea what age he is

86

Were you at the game yesterday ?

id prefer an easy game that we win and then a tougher 1 against a higher ranked team, if we could get a scalp id be delighted with the season

It was fuckin freezing up there yesterday,we could do with a couple of forwards who know where the posts are

League weather Massey.

That’s the one regret they’ll have. They could easily have put 2-12 on the scoreboard.

Shannonside for me I’m afraid

3 really good goal chances alright,Galway won’t pose much trouble for mayo if they play like that again, our forwards were very disappointing yesterday

Louth away in qualifiers on 27th June.

We’ll take that.

Not the worst draw ever

Nice enough draw. Pity it’s not in Carrick as the minors are playing there that day vs Sligo. Would have been nice to have a double header

Ah well our last game

Disagree - we’ll gut these fuckers. They’ve never gotten over the reversal to Meath in that Leinster final. We’re un an upward curve - trust me. :pint:

I’ve just had a look at Louth’s results this year. They’ve conceded some big scores in the league and Westmeath put 3-14 on them in Leinster championship. We need to be more clinical than we were against Galway.

Can’t see there being more than 2 or 3 points between the teams either way. Hopefully we’ll come out the right side of it.

Yeah they’ve been shipping heavy scores to opposing teams alright but were not exactly a free scoring bunch of forwards either, id be much more confident if we were in carrick, boxtys right though we sem to be on an upward curve

It’s a 7.00 throw in for Louth vs Leitrim on Saturday week

How well sligo can compete all the time
