Awesomeness

DB Senior said Mohill were much the better team again today but their forwards were atrocious.

He doesn’t think they’ll beat Corofin :smile:

Apologies @Massey but superb commentary from John Lynch :ronnyroar:

Terrible attitude to take on the night of a County final. They are preparing a motion as I type to change the club title to the Mohill Invincibles… :joy:

Watched the drawn game highlights on TG4 and seemed decent, but 1-4 to 0-6, WTF was with the scoreline?!

I encountered John “Boola” McCrann** - a Mohill stalwart from the 60’s/70’s on Thursday outside and inside Jim O’Brien’s.
We’re old enough to realise that flamboyant football, while eye-soothing, doesn’t win matches. Historically, Leitrim hope to survive on 10/12 scores. Retention of the ball became the new mantra.

Unsightly… Yes… But effective…

** We were on 2 winning teams in 69/70 but I’m unsure of his true Christian name…

Boola is a grand old sort.

As are all those McCranns.

I was speaking to Seamus Plum a couple of months back. Like so many now he is Oz based. A good footballer as well.

Congratulations to mohill, now I know how boxtys crowd felt in 99,good luck in the connacht club and sure we might get another go at ye in the league final

Of course Mohill have their very own Jack Grealish.

Ronan Kennedy (who has scored the winning score in both of Mohill’s recent Championship triumphs) played all his underage with Eslin.

Will Mcloughlin and Beirne get the call up to the county squad DB,they looked handy enough in the first game, croal and maguire would be welcome additions also if they were inclined

Mohill travel to Tuam to play Corofin on Sunday.

Holy Christ!
