Calling @anon67715551, where was I?

An interesting, if slightly inaccurate photo Har…The glaring omission is that of our full-back, the late Jack Bohan from the now defunct Gorvagh club. This club had won 4 of the last Leitrim finals but Bohan was reluctant to take the captaincy thus allowing Tom Gannon (of the famous 1994 team photo) in.
My late aunt subsequently married PC Blessing (back row) and oddly enough our family had taken Michael Casserly (front row) from a “home” in Dublin as a farm labourer…
Such was the magnitude of the success, Casserly became famous, got a few pound together and went to New York, where he spent 40 years as the “Greeter” to the Empire state building. He sent Christmas cards annually with a few dollars “for Masses” and remained in contact up to his death, RIP.

I could write a book about it all…

They were well ahead of their time with a camera that took colour photos in 1927 :relaxed:

The double is won.

League final result

Mohill 1-8 Manor 0-10

Did you back them DB,I was told they’d win well as the manor lads haven’t trained since the final,I wouldn’t back against my own but was told we had no chance

I didn’t mate.

Onwards and upwards for Mohill DB,the rest of the clubs need to start getting the finger out, manor and mohill are only middlin teams yet they’ve dominated the last few years,we need the rest of the clubs to start upping their game or our county team will forever be a division 4 team, ballinamore, allen gaels, carrick all need to improve vastly or our county team will be going nowhere

Well done to Mohill on winning the junior A,agood year for ye @thedancingbaby

Due to the huge interest in the podcast service (several thousand downloads) we are experiencing a dramatic consumption of our traffic allowance so to help alleviate the matter we are reducing the recorded sound quality from very high (CD quality) to a medium setting and thus reducing the file size of the podcasts. You will benefit as the files will download faster and take up less room on your playback device.

i came across the above on the leitrim site, its from 2007 :grinning:,last podcast was in 2008
