I see leitrim village were bet by a point
Leading for most of the match as well apparently.
3pts up goin into the last 1/4 and conceded 6 in a row.
A grim day weather wise in castlebar
No Cillian o Connor today.
Hard luck Manor but they should really be making more of an impact at club level in Connacht.
They were well in it and probably should have been ahead at ht. Even after conceding the goal I thought we could still win as Dolan E Sweeney and Brady were causing all sorts of damage inside but the sending off fucked us.
3 home games against Cork Tipp and the Biffoâs.Not the greatest draw.Still think weâll give it a good rattle
Weâll possibly be on 10 points going into the last game. Hardly enough for guaranteed promotion. Thereâll be a lot on the line if that scenario enfolds.
Iâll say it now âFuck Tippâ.
In other news thereâs a noble assembly of scallywags in the gallery section from the Junior B final last weekend. Our custodian Killian Mac is surely no modern day athleteâŠ
He tries these Cluxton-esque sideways kickouts which sometimes donât find the targetâŠ
I read as well that the Cluainin stick-fighters withdrew services from the county hurling team, followed promptly by Carrick, pulling the plug on their own man. I heard nothing as yet but it reads ominously.
Must be why Cunniffe quit. Was there bad feeling after the final?I wasnât home since the SOH game.
After the hurling final the Manor lads informed the C/B they werenât hurling county under Cunniffe. C/B leaps into action a fortnight after and then Carrick say theyâre supporting Manor. Cunniffe after 6-8 years at the helm and a Lory Meagher has no option but walk.
The C/B are probably holding out now for Daly/Donoghue/Gerlock/Cyril to steady the ship.
Jokers.
Sounds like a sickener for Leitrim Gaels last weekend
Different level sums it up really.
Is Cunniffe not a Carrick man though? Itâd be a shame if the hurling suffers after all the hard work gone in. Played Leitrim plenty of times with the shire. Always decent skins and went to college with Glancy.
While a Galway native originally heâs been in Carrick 20+years and has single-handedly raised the standard and profile of hurling within the county. Iâve never met the man or heard anything negative about him until bomb went off.
Itâs sad that having taken a step forward some interfada rears itâs head to derail the progress. Thereâs little doubt but those slievĂ©Ă©ns in the CluainĂn* hurling club are at the root of some nefarious scheme.
