Fair play. You’re keeping on track after the opening blip.
Fenagh are going in the right direction though.
We need to consolidate in Senior. Bulk of the team is U-24. Getting to the group stages would be a confidence boost. There’s a title in them really and I know I’ve said it before…
Small steps and all that.
Full Time in Drumshanbo @allengaels 1-10 @LeitrimGaels 1-10, a late Shane Walsh goal and a 30m free from @allengaels James Flynn (he kicked 0-8 this evening) with the last kick of the game earns Allen Gaels a draw. @LeitrimGaels struggled being down a man in the 2nd,
Padraic Davis’s recommendation I believe.
A good win for Eslin this evening over those Ballinaglera pricks.
Didn’t Leitrim Gaels beat them the first week out?
Could the Willies and Carrick not have switched pitches @anon67715551 rather than postpone?Schedule is fairly tight is it not. Will it be have to be played before the next round?
Yes,beat them well
Leitrim Gaels are the prime example of how a tiered Championship should work. We robbed them in a Junior final years back and they re-grouped and came up through the levels.
I think we got the structure right this year.I even think we could do with an 8 team senior championship. We’ll see how the rest of the group’s pan out.
Both teams ready, Ref’s call. Them’s the breaks. Too late to change, possibly played tomorrow at neutral venue. There’s really no gap in the calendar.
Couple of teams in both grades finding themselves in sticky spots. Drumreilly’s ageing warriors look goosed, Kiltubrid struggling, timely effort from Eslin.
Ballinamores pitch would suit no?
Not really ideal, I’d say it’s a bit of a swamp currently. Our’s not much better. Cloone would withstand it in fairness, terrific all year round pitch and plenty round bales made on it the year.
It’ll have to be played tomorrow or Monday will it not?
