I didnât actually. I kicked in a few quid there after the SoH game and thatâll keep me in credit. I suppose in the unlikely event of a county final appearance weâll have to go to the well again.
Why does a semi final appearance require a fundraiser?
Its likely our last outing of this campaign and income-gates/club lotto have dried up. Supporters are precluded from attending and throwing their verbal encouragement at a very young team who have done a small parish reasonably proud.
We appreciate the club, itâs players and mentors and are happy enough to throw in a few quid. The last I heard was that nearly âŹ7k has been raised, Iâd say itâs a welcome boost.
I can do the Glencar/Manor lotto on line now.Unrale.

Ronan Kennedy with the Mohill goal. Ryan OâRourke with the green flag for Fenagh.

Lovely
Mohill much the better team all across the field. Their clever use of the mark in the 1st.half completely un-hinged our green but game gorsóóns. Chick Kennedy and Keith Beirne kept the scoreboard man on his toes all through.
Apart from Ryan none of our front men threatened and the 8-10 minutes each side of half-time enabled them put distance between the teams. Mohill were fitter, more comfortable on the ball, knew what they were about and will be favourites in the final.
ComhgĂĄirdeas Maothail. Weâll come again all being well.

A bit of a shock there.
Gortletteragh and Annaduff will contest the Intermediate final.
Bate by the better team today.Good luck to Carrick in the final.Theyâve some great young players, the two midfielders look like county potential if they keep at it,the No 9 had a great battle with Darren today.
Do they have any hope against Mohill?
I donât know really I havenât seen Mohill play this year. But if Mohill snuff out midfield and keep Lowe quiet in side then itâll be job done
Thatâll actually be a good final. Annaduff started like trains yesterday but got a hell of a fright from Carrigallen. There have been big scoring contests all through, whether its indicative of improving forwards or shakey defences is the conundrum, Iâd lean towards the latter. To my mind, while itâs been a fairly good championship we havenât un-earthed anymore of real note and thatâs a negative.
From a FĂĄy-na prospective Ryan is the singular Countyman of actual quality we possess. Donal has looked sluggish, Jack Gilheaney hasnât the mobility for county football and the rest are only chaps.
Best of luck to the 4 teams in their respective finals.
