Technically, he was outside the county but he hadn’t far to travel.

Aughawillian’s Pierce Dolan replaces McCaffrey at 13. Much in the way I’ve plugged Shane Moran in the past, I have great hopes for this lad. He got screwed around last year and it affected his confidence.
He’s what you’d call tall and rangy and the spell with DCU will have boosted his self-belief. He’ll never be caught for effort or determination being a Willie.

It’s a big ask but a super opportunity for hard canvassing…

I think hes a super player as well to be honest. He played midfield agin limerick last year and done very well.He could do well against cork at 14 as they aren’t great at the back.

Did Plunkett and Dolan make the DCU team? The team I saw for the final had neither of them on it nor brought on as a sub.
