No reason game shouldnt be shown. Its ridiculous all theses games are not available some way or another. The ticket prices for the game are a disgrace too imo
Best of luck anyway could be a tricky game without Beirne

I can’t believe Rooney is starting,I thought Jack was good against Sligo and Wexford.A bit more defensive looking as Coach Moran won’t want to concede anything early agin London especially with them at home. They gave us lots of trouble last time over there until Beirne came on and steadied the ship in the 2nd half.

Correct. We’ll see about 30 seconds of it on the Sunday Game if we’re lucky.

One or two points will be shown and the clowns in the studio will say a line or two pretending the know something and probably mention Mulligan as he is probably the only player they ever heard of from Leitrim. No disrespect meant by that its the same when we play they only mention the smiths cox and Murtaghs no matter how they played. The whole thing is shocking bad coverage

I believe they call that lip service.

Coach Moran obviously has spies here as I welcome the positioning of Plunkett on the 40. Shane Quinn, as mooted here comes in to shore up the back line and Flynn will probably be on sweeper duties. Hopefully it won’t be high octane stuff for I couldn’t see him getting the 70 mins.
Coincidentally, we lost this fixture 45 years ago * with our 2 clubmen and another parishioner on the starting 15, hopefully there won’t be a recurrence of that catastrophe. I’m happy enough with the selection, hard to see another deserving cause altho’ Rooney must consider his selection fortunate.

Two Manor men in that photo also Big Dan and Dessie Mc.Good to see young Dolan in the 26 for the first time this year.I hear we’ve bate Longford and Wicklow recently in challenge games.I think our bench will be vital Sunday if they are used correctly bringing Jack and possibly Dolan on early in the second half to run at the London defense could be crucial to winning this one.Tom Prior is injured according to the Observer.

Was it Shane Moran or Shane Quinn that gave Roscommon lots of it few years ago? Was wearing no. 8 or 9 but played at full forward for long periods

Moran

Thanks. Looked very good that day. How is he normally

He’s hit and miss, hasn’t played much this year.Started against Sligo the last day but was poor and taken off iirc

I think Moran is a decent player though.

When he’s on form he’s a good player. He used to drive me insane trying to go past lads instead of laying the ball off and getting himself turned over.

Ladies starting off the weekend the right way

I agree, it’s just that he hasn’t seen much game time since the county final. Looking at the 78 team there it’s sad to see the late Seán Leyden in the front row alongside his brother. He was 19 then and was dead before the championship rolled round again. A super player. RIP Seán.

What’s the story with Tom Prior lads?

He’s injured so is Dean Mc

Our main scoring threat was exiting the graveyard as I was disembarking from the chariot (diesel).
He’s limping badly and my heart does a quick 180. As I’m about inquire, have heart attack, he simulates driving one over from 40 yards and bursts out laughing. “Got you there Boxty” the fucker goes.
We had a quick word, no need to drag the shit out of it and we went our merry ways. Mugged momentarily.
