Leitrim Gaa 2022

Glancy was always a bit of an enigma.

What’s the verdict on him in Manor?

Solan remains on Coach Moran’s team as far as I know. Glancy is surely replaceable as a selector but he was well thought of within the squad.

Interesting clashes, top and bottom meetings. Must wins for Mohill and Manor. Lots to fight for.

Apologies lads but what are these fixtures?

Is Round 4 not the last round of group matches?

Glancy is an excellent coach,he’s a bit younger than me so I only know him to say hello to.I actually thought he’d hang in there till Coach Moran left and might have taken over then.

That’s good news it would have been a real backwards step to lose both of them.

Round 4 is the final round of group games. Top 2 into semi’s - next 4 in the q/fs - bottom 4 in relegation battle. The table is much as I outlined last night but the full read (incl points diff) is on the Co.Board site.

On a quirky note, if we were to orchestrate a draw with Leitrim Gaels there would be some consternation among the next 4 where everything - points and differentials would be massive.

Housing, feeding and entertaining parties of 50 don’t come cheap in NYC.
We’re hardly expected to stump up north of €100k as our share of an outdated arrangement. Anyway it’s time to look at this whole New York thing again, maybe a spell in a weaker province like Leinster would be more beneficial to them.

The county board won’t be passing up a trip to NYC.

Solan is staying with us.

Coach Moran is an alright sort. * He seems to understand the nuances and pitfalls of managing a squad bursting with desire and potential and is finding a path to take us from the basement division.

  • Subject to alteration based on results.

Solan obviously isn’t in for any other county jobs going by that commitment there from Coach Moran

Coach Moran was fulsome in his praise of Barry McWeeney and James Glancy in fairness. The much maligned County Board escaped unscathed as well which is a first. Cathaoirleach Stenson, a sound Eslin man, must be doing a marvellous job.

John McKeon’s dad dropped dead there Saturday RIP. Big gathering in the funeral home there this evening (for the viewing as Scalder calls it).
John looks like a lad that could still do a job for you even in his high 30’s.

McKeown was a great footballer, boy could we do with him at No 3.Youd hope McTague will fill that role next year.Looks like were going to lose a couple of lads to travelling, hopefully it’s not any big names as ourselves and Sligo will be pushing for promotion you’d think.

Not a lot of love for your boys in the Paddy Power world in advance of Saturday night’s events….Manor 15/8 SoH 1/2. Ye need the win hope the point differential keeps you out of the bear-pit.

The green and white gave up a fair score but 5 goals will win you most games.
