Paddy Guckian was indeed a survivor of the Selton Hill fiasco. Iāve never looked into the proliferation or otherwise of the Guckian clan. We had a pair of warriors around the turn of the century who gave sterling service to the club. Patrick subsequently took up the whistle and got dogs abuse for sending off an SoH miscreant in their losing final a few years ago. His appetite for the refereeing dissipated afterwards.
