Tune in tomorrow for his policy speech
‘Trolleys are better than sleeping on the floor’
‘Terrible mental health service is better than no mental health service’
‘Organised crime is better than disorganized crime’
'‘Unequal pay is better than no pay’
'‘Corrupt banks are better than corrupt moneylenders’
‘Shit public transport better than the horse and cart’
’
If he was smart, he’d head off now while he’s on a high and pick up some handy job in a board room somewhere. I think he’s one of the most lacking in substance leaders we’ve ever had (and that’s saying something). He does not stand up to scrutiny at all.
Coveney by a country mile. He’d be leader today if it wasn’t for some outdated weighting system in the voting. Fg will regret not voting him in yet. Leo strikes me as the kind of lad who’ll be quite happy to collect his pension before he’s even 45 and do fuck all for the rest of his life
Richard Bruton is the other FG fella I’d respect. Generally acknowledged by civil service folk to be all over his brief at all times. And regularly sent out to bat when the shit hits the fan, which tells a lot. I’ve also heard Flanagan is actually quite decent. There’s nothing after that…
Bruton and Flanagan? Two has beens. Bruton was doing a half decent job in education until the Salmon thing broke and then ran like an Italian. Flanagan doesn’t know his left from his right.
And just to clarify, my family was one which was personally affected by the whole thing. His behaviour was shocking during the whole thing. So think twice in future before making your snide remarks.
