Did you know Callinan was the one who was dealing with the French after the Sophie Toscan du Plantier murder? Apparently he was telling them they knew it was Bailey and he’d be charged and done for it etc.

Varadkar can fuck off. He spent his political career doing fuckall. Loved talking. Not so much doing. Coming out as an ideas man now when he had all the power to do what he wanted for years is a bullshit ego trip and trying to wash his reputation.
I still remember conor faughnan of the AA tearing him apart on the radio (not long after he finished in transport) one time for his general inactivity and ineptitude and the bills he didnt bother signing into law even after they’d passed. Cos he was just too lazy or didnt want to be tied to anything that could later come back to bite. And conor faughnan is hardly a hard nosed political commentator…

Brexit negotiations and COVID under his watch are two major challenges. The economy continued to grow under him. Plenty of major infra projects under him progressed albeit slowly.

Actually the easiest thing for him would be to avoid interviews and scrutiny. Enda has had his legacy improved by just saying nothing…
