Let's All Laugh At Sevco Thread

But they don’t seem to be involved in any commercial deals with the huns so it all seems a bit contrived.

Oh dear.

They’ll surely turn this around against 10 men ??

The 10 men turned it around against them.

Any decent journalism done of the extent of their financial problems? They are surely fucked now and will have to cash in on the likes of Barasic, Kamara, Morelos?

A 16m loss last season and that only covered 3 months of empty stadiums, nevermind the money the spent last summer, rising wage bill and a year without fans.

The CL money was badly needed to plug a hole for them. They have to be fucked now?

Nah mate. Rangers have a long history and proud tradition. No way a club like them could go bust.

They also seem set to be in a similar issue next season to the one Celtic are in at the minute. They have the likes of Kent, Morelos, Helander, Jack and Kamara all out of contract at the end of next season so these guys will then have all the bargaining power when it comes to contract negotiations.

Morelos is already the highest paid player in Scotland so they will likely have to break the bank to keep these guys or else have to cash in on reduced fees next summer. Goldson, Davis, McGregor and Arfield are all out of contract at the end of this season and may need replacing.

I’d say when the results come out for the current season (which probably won’t be until late 2022) that Rangers may well have a bigger wage bill than Celtic at that point. I think Celtic’s wage bill has been heavily weighed on by EPL loanees in the past. We’ve also lost the likes of Brown, Ntcham etc who would have been big earners and done a bit of a cull of deadwood like Shved, Hendry, Bayo etc.

My next door neighbour and running partner was living in Glasgow and involved in the insolvency or whatever you call it of Livingstone. He was asked to do rangers and refused for personal and family safety reasons.
If I were Mike Ashley, I’d have bought them last time and bulldozed Ibrox (and emigrated)

So now you want continued fiscal prudence and not a load of signings?
