Ahead of tonight’s first leg against Motherwell, a Sevco supporter has come up with a plan to make the club huge in the lucrative Indian and Chinese markets:

It’s like something you’d read on RAWK.

“The returns are self evident” :smiley:

Lads, will this game be fixed by the refs? Do motherwell and rangers hate each other usually? Cards line is low enough on pp

Also, what sort of football will be played? Should I expect long balls and plenty of corners?

Think this is only the second ever meeting of the teams - I recall them playing in the League Cup either this season or last - but Motherwell used to always roll over to the liquidated Rangers under Butcher and (especially) McCall. The latter is now managing Sevco so there’s an angle and Motherwell have ex Celtic players in McManus and McDonald who won and lost tight title battles with oldco. I wouldn’t rule out a red card to Motherwell and a penalty to Sevco in one dubious professional foul type incident and I think there will be bookings and corners. Motherwell will be trying to get crosses into Erwin and/or Sutton and Kenny Miller will be chasing balls into the channel and Lee Wallace will be sprinting on from left back for Sevco.

Mick!!!

Big Mick McManus!

Micko the legend.

Boooooooo!!!

@Bandage
does the away goals rule apply here or was that only to be decided pending on the result of this game?
i presume Celtic Park will be chosen as the neutral venue for the playoff game involving the loosers of this tie and the third from bottom team in the SPL?

:D:D:D

What a goal!

Blistering break!
