I’ve just followed up my first listen by watching President Robinson greeting the Wexford players, the pre match parade with Limerick breaking off very early, Amhrán na bhFiann and then Georgie leaving Seán O’Neill in a crumpled heap after the throw-in.
Unbelievable scenes.

Sad scenes with these guys desperately trying to hang on to some semblance of their youths.
Liam was appalling on Norton. Besides the facts that his voice is gone and his new songs are awful. He cut a rather disturbing figure on the sofa. Looks like he has some nervous tick from all the drug use, that coupled with his constant scratching made for uncomfortable viewing.
He gibbered his way through the interview like an incoherent tramp and he even has hair coming out of his ears.
The man is a mess.
