JJ and Tommy were the 2 greatest wing backs of all time. Kyle has a long way to go. They are 2 completely different types of players anyway. JJ an artist of a defender, a superb hurler, Kyle a complete force of nature with plenty of skill for a man his size and is a freak of an athlete

On the bench with every other 22 year old back then. Shefflin was one of the few that Cody sprung.
What Kyle has done has been phenomenal when you put it in context…still has a bit to go but the game is different now too

JJ Delaney and Tommy Walsh had multiple all-Ireland’s won by 22. Both starting by the age of 20 anyway. Is Kyle Hayes not 23?

Yeah he was only 19 in the 2003 All-Ireland final I’d say.
Not long out if Minor I think… He ran into Cork for his first few years I think…
20 I’d say.
Kyle Hayes as a more complete hurler than JJ ever was. JJ was a great defender. Kyle Hayes could play anywhere really.
