Limerick GAA 2019, the drive for five

Limerick are the only senior hurling county who can win a 2 in a row, and that’s a fact

First time watching this back now, (Cork semi), unbelievable game of hurling so far

Ah it was. It had everything

My memory failed me TBH, I thought Limerick had begun to pull away in the first half of ET, it was only the penalty with 5 minutes to go that put it to bed,
From a Cork perspective Harnedy was incredible, Fitzgibbon was a huge loss, Kearney was outstanding
An incredible game of hurling though

The question isn’t two in a row, but how many in a row.

Fuck off gobshite

If you had been there you would have known all that. Kearney was immense… Ran the show.

If the lads come back with an improvement they’ll no doubt do back to back. They can’t chance no improvement.

What would be improvement?

Less wides, beating Clare, winning a Nobel Prize etc.

New game plan?

Ah no, the one we have is doing alright.

Taking every chance that they get.

Kilkenny hit 15 wides in the first 43 mins v Limerick; sure if every county team took all their chances they’d win every game

We’re discussing Limerick here champ.

Moving this discussion over here, had intended to bump the old thread with it.

I think ye’ve missed the point by assuming last year’s players will start. They’ll be starting from scratch and will have to prove themselves from scratch all over. I’d only see 5 or maybe 6 players from last year as guaranteed starters again if fit. Personally, I can’t see Casey not start. The competition for places will be massive, in the forwards especially.

Both games against Cork last year were something else. Rewatching the semi from last night here. The quality of scoring in it was outrageous

My point is that PC will have to prove he is better than the current incumbents to merit a start or alternatively that one of the current incumbents can do better elsewhere to create a vacancy in FF line .

Form should dictate who starts .

Only in Limerick could you be on about tossing lads who’ve only gone and won yer first All Ireland in decades, and asking them to go “prove themselves”.

Eh, I won a fucking All Ireland last year you cunt, you go prove yourself.

I love you guys.
