Tipp definitely started better but Limerick have settled and are working hard. Had a couple of wides from the likes of English & Hurley but Tipp missed a handy free too. Decent contest.

O’Brien & O’Donovan are so direct, causing serious bother by running at the Tipp full-back line. There are goals to be got.

Odd situation there; a ball dropped in around the edge of the square between a Limerick forward, a Tipp back & the Tipp goalkeeper.
Tipp keeper did really well to stop the ball breaking for Limerick but then got cleaned out by his own man. Both Tipp men were prone, the Limerick man was also on the ground, would have been a tap-in but another Tipp back got back to cover.
Looks like a very serious injury for the Tipp keeper, hopefully he’s okay.

We started really well after the water break, probably should have had another goal but were well on top in the middle third but Tipp came back strong. They missed two very handy frees. They’ve now lost their full-back as well as their goalkeeper to injury but have the wind to come.
Limerick had a couple more chances to get the ball into the FF line but didn’t manage to before getting swarmed. When the ball goes in, we look very very dangerous. English has swapped with O’Donovan now and himself & O’Brien are a massive threat.
