Limerick GAA 2022 - Dual Kings (Part 1)

Need to get Danny involved more.

Seriously lacking a direct runner in attack. Corbett is a huge miss in that regard.

Limerick very slow to get the ball forward; they turned over a Tipp half-back earlier and they slowed it up rather than capitalising on the mistake.

Also taking on shots from way outside their range because they haven’t been breaking tackles or getting runners off the shoulder.

Tipp also way better at working marks so far.

Slowly coming into it.

Better the last few mins; great pass from Fahy to Bourke for the score there.

Totally dominating possession, have started to get a bit of forward momentum.

Down 0-06 to 0-04 at the break.

Terrible first quarter but have improved since, loads of possession but missed a few chances.

Limerick 0-4 Tipp 0-6 at half-time.

Limerick have had a lot of the possession but lacking cutting edge. Very poor start but improved after about 25 minutes. They’re all working hard, etc, but to beat better teams, you do have to have a bit of cutting edge. Enright & Griffin have been very quiet on the ball, and we haven’t got Neville on enough ball in dangerous areas.

Treacy the main player providing a bit of forward impetus, and Bourke the threat inside. Sheehan has been busy but not a real scoring threat, Childs similar.

Josh Ryan could add something here, Brian Donovan aswell. Corbett obviously if he’s fit.

Also GAAGO is a Godsend. Great service.

Tipp in no panic to take to the field for the 2nd half.

Iain Corbett coming on

Hup Neville . Lovely score.

Hon Neville.

Billy Lee obviously reading. Griffin & Enright off, Corbett & Donovan on.

Hon Danny Neville!

Hon again!

And again

The goal was as good a finish as you’ll see anywhere. Lovely pass from Corbett to open up the defence too.

Now we’re motoring.

And again.

Just doing things with so much more purpose this half.

Ref has been decent tbf.

5 up now, fuck Tipp.
