The odds of keeping the ball when going short as opposed to going long far outweigh each other hence the reason Darragh OāDonovan is not taking them on. It is Limerickball stats we are using at this stage lads and it works.
Minor Hurling Championship: Kildimo/Pallaskenry 3-25 Kilmallock 0-9.
I donāt think weāve ever had a result like that at minor level against a real big gun.

Three years ago at U-14, Kilmallock beat us in the āAā County Final 6-7 to 0-5.
I will say that Shane OāBrien was injured today and he practically beat us on his own at U-14 level. And he would have made a massive difference today. Although not 25 points difference. It just looks like our team has improved a lot in three years while Kilmallock are still reliant on the star individuals, OāBrien & Pierce Connery. They had a few other tidy fellas but the heads dropped early in the second half.
Weāre playing B sure. Underage set up very poor these days.
Our Kilmallockness will always keep us at the top table sonny

The young fella didnāt lick it from a stone so.
Heās phenomenal at this level to be fair, and would have caused us problems but one fella canāt win you games at U-17 the way he can at U-14.
