It was good while it lasted.
It was.
Local championship will be interesting now.
Lots of injuries in Na Piarsaigh.
Will Mike be back?
Donât know to be honest. He didnât play in a challenge match last Thursday night. None of the county players did.
The Dow is back
As @Elvis_Brandenberg_Kr said previously, the only match with anything to play for was Adare vs NaP and realistically, the county champions were always going to win that.
Quarter-finals fixed for 4 weeks time. Very tough match for Ballysteen after todayâs loss. Hard to see Adare and NCW not winning. The other two quarters could be interesting; if Oola get the hurlers back, theyâll fancy their chances against GG. Monaleen be favourites against Caseyâs.
Relegation interesting again, Galbally were semi-finalists last year and Ballylanders made the county final. One of them will be in the relegation final this year. Kieranâs back in a relegation semi again, theyâll think theyâre better than that but NaP sunk D/B last year.
Kierans are in big bother. Missing lads, auld hands getting aulder. Iâd say NAP out of the 4, but Kierans are second on my list.
Whichever of the other two ends up in it should have enough in the final. I would say Kierans vs NAP is the de facto relegation final. But sure anything can happen on a day. Happy to be out of it anyway.
Tough ask against Adare.
Donât see beyond NCW or Adare again this year. Maybe Monaleen.
@crutches boys will fancy their chances against Oola. Great chance of a semi final
Caseys are one conundrum of a club. Is it 7 out 8 Minor titles theyâve won and they not within an asses roar of winning anything at Senior
Senior Hurling Championship launched this evening.
Any word on the streaming of matches yet? Doesnât seem to have been any football matches streamed this year, there was plenty over the past couple of years.
1/2- Na Piarsaigh
9/2- Patrickswell
6/1- Doon
13/2- Kilmallock
20/1- Adare
25/1- Ahane
33/1- Ballybrown
40/1- Kildimo/Pallaskenry
50/1- South Liberties
50/1- Monaleen
100/1- Garryspillane
150/1- Blackrock
Doon will surely never get a better chance with Na Piarsaighâs injury problems.
The bottom 5 of that 12 are putrid. For all the talk of Limerick domination their club hurling is not much stronger than Offaly or Laois.
Youâd think Garryspillane would be coming with their underage success.
Theyâve a very small pick as Teej says.
Kildimo are a good solid senior side and are getting better every yr. Liberties are putrid alright.
Not sure who won the photo⌠not a great start for Doon.
The sixth, seventh and eight team in the betting have more all stars than Cork have had in the last 15 years or so.
Cathal King looks like heâd rather be anywhere else
That doesnât mean they are good club teams.
