What about the draw?
Very possible
I think it will be. Does it have to finish today?
Vote on who you think will eventually win it
Water Break: Mungret 1-6 Cappamore 0-1.
Very poor start from Cappamore, giving up very handy scores. Goal for Brian O’Meara.
Half-time: Mungret 2-12 Cappamore 1-5.
It was a slightly better quarter from Cappamore but Mungret have reeled off a few more points in a row. Cappamore are way too loose in the full-back line and there are goals to be got. Niall Mulcahy got their second, should have had another only for a heroic block.
Ronan Hanly scored a great solo goal for Cappamore and Creamer has had a few nice points but they’re giving up scores way too handy and too loose. Mungret moving the ball slickly, getting puckouts away quickly and Cappamore getting turned over consistently on their short puckout.
Cappamore have the wind to come but it’s a long way back.
Good crowd in
Water Break 2: Mungret 3-14 Cappamore 1-9.
A goal just on the water break kills this off. Cappamore have had the better of the quarter but too wasteful, and need to be clinical in the circumstances. Lynch sets up another goal for Mulcahy, Lynch has been excellent.
Full-time: Mungret 4-17 Cappamore 1-12.
A tame final 15, a third assist for the excellent Liam Lynch as Brian Barry buried a goal. No way through for Hanly and Lonergan at the other end.
The better team won, just better touch & hurling ability in tight spaces. Created space in their full-forward line and Lynch had his man on toast.
How long were Mungret gone from senior hurling ???
Enjoyable start, Mul on fire.
Wind with the Well but not feeding Gillane enough. Gillane junior scored a serious sideline. Lynch starting to come into it.
Mulcahy is on a mission here.
Ah thats as cynical as it gets there now
That should be O’Brien’s second yellow.
SOB should be gone for 2 yellows chopped down on Mul earlier
He’ll be gone before the match is over. Kilmallock hounding for a goal.
Should be gone. The first one was worse.
