Limerick GAA 2022 - Dual Kings (Part 1)

County final tonight, looks like itā€™ll be a wet one. Luckily for all the supporters, itā€™s on in Mick Neville Parkā€¦

Is that not a home venue for Rathkeale?

No - no more so than GG is a home for Na P

Fair enough. I forgot about the Bog

Canā€™t find a stream for Rathkeale v K/P on Limerick GAA TV so I assume this isnā€™t being broadcast?

The nearest to a stream tonight at MNP will be the puddles in the car park

No, not being broadcast and on in the worst viewing venue in the county.

I decided to forego the opportunity to spend ā‚¬15 standing in the pissing rain, 3 deep at the fence.

Youā€™re wise. We were going to go in too but the father refused to pay the ā‚¬15, he canā€™t understand the staging of any final in MN Park.

7-6 to Rathkeale, 25mins gone

6 to 4 to the mushes after 20 mins . Decent scoring

Pallas goal blitz

2-8 to 0-9

2 goals inside 5 mins from Lorcan Oā€™Leary has turned this game on itā€™s head.

2-9 to 0-12 at the waterbreak

2-10 to 0-14, heading into stoppage time

Some work done at both codes from KP, senior all round.

Congrats @Aristotle

K/P truly are a model club. To go from Junior B to Senior in 7 years is phenomenal. Even more so when the club has historically been more focussed on hurling than the big ball.

Great win for ye @Aristotle. Fairplay.

Would you have any concerns out of interest in being a successful club in both codes?

I think its an interesting question. Personally, Iā€™m not sure both can be done together successfully.

Its a tricky one for clubs without massive playing numbers.
