Minor All Irelandās can drive a young lad buck ape
Is that why you keep the kids in the basement ?
You should win some award for that one.
Iāve got the limerick poster of the year in the bag as it is.
Nice to see the tallest dwarf get a prize.
Iām only joking.
Brought on a sub after quarter of an hour, he missed a great goal chance and was hooked round half-time. Think he never hurled again
Never really sorted the spine of the defence either.
Conor Fitz? Did Conor Byrnes stay playing?
I got the impression there was huge overconfidence that day . Management were poor on the day . Limerick were beat fair and square by a KK team that were limited but honest
Is Kyle Hayes the only one weāll get off the 2016 minor team that got to the final?
Flanagan not on that?
He was on the 2014 minor final team
Jerome & Conor Boylan, Ronan Connolly, Brian Ryan are all on the panel. And WOM obviously has an AI medal too, and I wouldnāt be surprised to see him back injuries permitting. Jamie Power was sub keeper and was on the panel previously, dropped for Jason now.
In terms of getting a definite starter; itās tough in that the 2013/2014 minors are still young and well settled. So I donāt see any obvious candidates but if youāre on the panel and work hard, you never know what might happen between injuries & form.
Was WOM injured for the 2016 final?
Yeah, he did his cruciate after the first or second match. Was definitely gone by the Munster final and played Conor Nicholas as sweeper instead and it was a disaster tbh. Tipp bypssed him completely & cut us to shreds.
yeah they destroyed us that day. Poor auld WOM has had an awful run of it with injuries the misfortune.
Tipp were far superior to us that year.
Howās Magnier-Flynn going? He looked to have a little bit about him
Ahā¦ his fitness wouldnāt be that great. He was back centre-back for Killeedy this year and apparently did well but they bottled it again.
Finn Hourigan was one I thought looked good but he suffered a bad hand injury which fucked him up.
David Woulfe was probably the most talented of the forwards but has only really broke into the Kilmallock team this year. Hard to see him being a Kiely player tbh.
Darragh Carroll kinda went off the radar when he transferred to Newport; Conor Nicholas was always highly-rated but again suffered a lot of injuries. At club level, Josh Adams has probably been the most impressive but as a forward with Ballybrown this year.
I liked OāBrien from Mungret is it? Again, probably not built for a Kiely team but he had a bit about him
