If you are willing to travel 20 minutes out the road there is a fine handball/squash court in the Ballina Gaa pitch. You can join the handball club for a nominal enough fee and they will give you a key to access it whenever you want. The lights are coin operated. I joined it about 5 years ago for a year and played maybe 20 times and the court was never in use any time I showed up. Think it cost me less than €100 to join for the year.
Think they have built an outdoor court as well since then
