Limerick GAA 2022 - Dual Kings (Part 1)

12 in the back room team. The professionalism is mad

Sure any decent club side would have that size team

Down as far as intermediate, maybe not as many selectors but youd be looking at 6 or 7 anyway minimum

Yeah, to be fair, plenty of smaller clubs well-represented which is always good to see.

Key players from Kilteely/Dromkeen, Crecora/Manister, etc; Templeglantine man only just missing out and will be a big addition from the bench.

Presume thatā€™s Aaron Murphy from
Hospital and Paudie from
Kilmallock?

Itā€™s pure madness.

Shur with KP this year; we had

1 manager, 3/4 selectors, 1 stats, 1 physio, 1 first aid, 1 kitman/water carrier & we had liaisony types too.

Iā€™d say so. A lot of ex players getting involved is fantastic

It is.

A manager and four selectors ffs.

As the great Barney Curley once said for a board of executives to work there needs to be an uneven number on it and three is too many.

You need as many eyes as you can get especially with 30 odd at training.

Youā€™d need fresh voices all the time as well.

The Dublin footballers have more nutritionists ffs .

Thereā€™s actual a few more than that involved; thatā€™s just the 12 allowed in to the match

Still hasnā€™t cracked the Doon seniors, even as a sub. Did well with the juniors alright. Probably not particularly suited to a wing-forward role in the modern game and Dylan Oā€™Shea was probably nailed-on for 11. Well-suited to an impact sub role, I think. Has another year next year obviously.

Emmet McEvoy is unavailable which is a blow; Mark Mac not starting would probably be the biggest surprise to a neutral observer.

You want to manage an inter county squad of 34 odd players with a few lads running it?? Will you go away you spoofer

Iā€™d suggest the 20s are probably carrying 1 selector too many there but other than that all looks as should be to run an Inter County set up properly and professionally

The Minors have more involved in the backroom but less in the Team Management

Yes it would be a very smart to have 1 manager and 3 selectors. Nothing at all could wrong there ever

Kyran Oā€™Donnell and Ryan Tobin must be injured to say their not even part of the match day panel. Oā€™Donnell would be starting in the full back line and Tobin would have started midfield.
