Iâd imagine the fitzgibbon was just an excercise in not getting injured for him.
Kilmallock broke him
Except our lads have three AI titles
If these lads never win another match theyâll have done enough.
You couldnât doubt them though. Theyâve never given us reason to.
Six weeks to the showdown in the pairc. Lots of work to do, but theyâll do it. Looking forward to it already, should be a classic.
Iâm flat out here bookmarking posts and taking names.
Limerick will do the 3 in a row this year, and you can BELIEVE THAT
The winter blitz and the one with Water Breaks in front of a few journos. I mean ffs.
No doubt boy
Only winding
Fantastic team
Like our previous great teams
Theyâll get their days in the sunshine
Ah lovely. Delicious tears
Ye are coming no doubt. But not yet. Waterford the team to stop this year
work in progress
A nice little nugget from the game was Hego putting Tony Kelly on his absolute arse, and firing it over. Beautiful stuff
It was the only thing he did as he miscontrolled everything else he had his way.
Agreed, he was very quiet in the second half especially. Heâll be grand. Heâs Hego, a hero of a man
Theyâre performing in fits and starts, and fading out of matches all through the league. Kiely might be timing their season for a 5 game blitz after Waterford and cork give them the fright theyâll need.
Not convinced anyone is putting much pressure on the tried and trusted so far. Coughlan looked like he was pulling a sled on a few occasions today. English scored the quintessential Gillane point running away from goal but was quiet otherwise. Connolly slotted in but Byrnes and Nash dominated the distribution from that area. English and Reidy seem to still be the obvious options off the bench. Maybe Kyle can slot in somewhere else to give the team another option.
Limerick want to win a 2nd all ireland in a full croker!!r rather than half full in 2021 and empty in 2020
It never bothered Kerry winning them with fuck all of their own crowd in attendance.

hey man, leave that out, we always went to the final whatever about the semi final
Ye are some fans in fairness
I donât know about tbh, I wasnât concerned at all before today tbh. Considering that they decided to select such a strong team today, which I donât think was needed, I would have liked to see a better performance today.
Does that mean we donât deliver in 6 weeks time? No, of course not. Thatâs plenty of time to get things right if we know what the issues to work on are.
The touch will get better. 100%. At times, we were a bit lethargic in doing things, that will improve. The only real concern (which is a big thing) is decision-making around our deliveries inside/shooting from inside. Itâs a big thing about choosing when to shoot, when to look for an extra pass and when to put the ball inside and weâve got it wrong a lot over the past two weekends. There were times today that Gillane or English were isolated inside and we had the ball in midfield and looked for another pass that wasnât on; and then there were times we tried to deliver when there were 2 or 3 extra Claremen back. Thatâs a thing Limerick have done brilliantly in recent seasons, and was way off today.
You would hope that with the increase in fitness for Championship, that weâll have extra options off the shoulder, draw extra defenders and increase space inside.
I donât think swapping half-forwards into the âCasey roleâ worked today. We ended up too deep and Conlon had a field day. I think we need a specific person in that role, even if purely from a defensive point-of-view.
