We’ll find out everything we need to know in the opening fifteen minutes of the game v Tipp. Three weeks is a massive break for this side to prepare.
The management rarely get these things wrong and having two games in six days was always going to be tough. They might just have left us a little short for them.
No complaints, Clare were the better side and one point flattered Limerick. Quaid made three brilliant saves. Clare much sharper and looked way fresher.
We looked pretty leggy. The bad looking injury to Finn just puts the tin hat on it.
A lot of this team have been living in each other’s pockets for the last decade between minor, u-21 and senior. A lot of hurling under their belts. Nobody sees the end coming until the end comes.
Three weeks off now is probably the best thing for them now. A must win game now against a Tipp team smelling blood. Just have too many players off it at the moment, that league final win and the nature of it probably covered up a few cracks.

Lookit even the great Dublin team eventually ran out of road,they haven’t gone away but aren’t the force they once were.Its a bit early to say that about Limerick but time will tell.Clare put fierce pressure on the Limerick hb line tonight and stopped a lot of good ball being delivered to the forwards,will Tipp be able to do that who knows.Limerick are still favourites for the AI as far as I’m concerned.

Pat Ryan getting removed from the panel just before his court case went down like the titanic with a few members of the panel.
One rule for poor Pat Ryan and another rule for the likes of Gillane and Hayes.
Tommy Walsh needs to do co comms on every game until his heart gives up
