Does the Woodlands still have the dessert trolley in the dining room?

It used to blow my mind as a young fella

We were there the daughters communion this year. No trolley.

It’s an option on their wedding plan.

You can’t really top the grub there and the Fitzgeralds are lovely people.

He’s my new favourite Limerick hurler :grinning:

They puck out the beer til all hours at a wedding too. 6 in the morning I came away the last time I was there for a wedding and it was still hopping.

They do. A great spot.

They are the nearest thing to the glory days of Dundrum house.

The Fitzgerald’s seem like great people. They do the catering at a few racecourses too.

Supporting a local hotel run by sound skins is not a bad move imo.

My Tipperary in-laws couldn’t get over how hands on they are in running it. Conor called a taxi for them on their last visit instead of just giving them a few numbers. Small thing but the type of touch that people like.

One is probably grand but when you win four or five it probably gets boring.

Like dinner dances in the club; they’re grand once every 5 or 6 years but get a bit tiresome every year. Back in the 80s and 90s they were a big social occasion, even when there were no medals to present.

Great people. Hard to believe they started off there with a small guesthouse.

Some going

The talent is not concentrated to one club, tbf if cork dug into their potential depth they would be unstoppable

The three best players are all from Patrickswell but thats done to death now.

JP owns the 2 competing hotels in Adare, not a man for monopoly. Spread the glory throughtout the country. A gent of a man
