I didn’t think Dave Moloney was playing much this year. When I saw Richie last, he could still hurl but his mobility was seriously hindered. Sean O’Neill was doing most of their scoring that day.

In goal, I’m pretty sure. That’s where he played through the league. Be a big shock to see him out the field now.

Dave isn’t paying much because of injury, patching him together for championship.
Reidy started out as sweeper, moved to midfield and came in to it more. Scored 3 or 4 from play. Had a few bad wides as well.
Ridiculous having him out playing club championship a week after the all ireland final though

Moloney has always been a serious player tbf, no doubt that he’s good enough if he’s fit. And with Quilty out and the likes of Dawson & Heffernan gone, they still need him, I would think.

Reidy would seem like an awful waste as a sweeper. You’d think if they were going down that path that Scully or the other Reidy would be better-suited. Simply because David is their main scoring threat.

He was completely wasted there, not in the game until he moved to midfield. Having said that, the other Reidy didn’t play and Scully only came on for the last 10 minutes so the options were limited
