Limerick GAA 2023-2024.... 5 in a row is not here

Good appointment.

I was standing with a now prominent official that day right by the wall by the cup. He said to me after the last of the players had walked down the the steps come one we’ll jump the wall and go onto the pitch. I said will I Fuck. He carried on with the plan which was successful until shennanigans on the pitch died down and the stewards had his arms up his back and escorted him out. It went viral at the time

Who is with him?

It was the best option available anyway.

Kp 6 ballybrown 2.

Jacks won’t close for a week if we win this.

As expected NCW comfortably dispatched Claughan in the senior football. An awful game I’m told. Looks like Claughan Vs Ballylanders in the relegation. I would expect Ballylanders to have too much for them if that is the pairing

I only see Claughan v K/P and they were terrible. How are they senior?

Because of the flakey bunch of wasters in intermediate

One particular flakey crowd anyway! That proved as flakey as ever last night!

Ah you wouldn’t know with Claughan what they’d put out. If they get a run going they have a load of soccer heads they can pull in. When it’s going bad they don’t bother. They are probably out of their depth at senior. As others have said there’s a few better teams below them who can’t seem to get it right

Alot of words to just say… Townies

Seems like NCW and K/P for top spot next week.

@Aristotle @Massey and their ultras out on force in hopes of a monumental win

If you looked up townie clubs in the dictionary it would be Claughan and Pat’s.

Claughan used to be the Kings of poaching. Seem to have slipped majorly on that front.

Huge win for KP Vs traditional heavy weights Kierans. Think NCW will be a bridge too far for them, but they should qualify handy now.

NCW missing 3 of their best forwards for the year so I wouldn’t call off all bets

The Intermediate is a weird one, lots of decent teams down there but nobody outstanding.

Even the year we won it in 2021, we had taken a couple of hammerings the year before and really didn’t expect to go all the way. We even lost to a fairly poor Crecora side along the way. But it just opened up for us, teams didn’t kill us off when we were more focused on the hurling and then we just had momentum.

Am I right in saying ye beat a pretty strong Rathkeale side in the final?

Yeah, they were lively alright. But we had a big advantage over them at midfield which definitely helped on kickouts and they couldn’t handle Nash.

Lorcan O’Leary scored two goals for us on the night; since moved away, is a loss to us in both codes to be honest.
