Ahane beat Saint Senanâs tonight in U19 B Football Championship Final after penalties. Tough way to lose that game, judging by the Twitter timeline Ahane equalised at the end of both normal and extra time.
That would be because the Feohanagh crowd couldnât give a shite about football Iâd suggest.

The Premier Intermediate hurling really is a box office championship. Youâd be scratching your head trying to predict a winner at this stage, two points separating the top six teams. Just when you thought Bruff were looking invincible, Dromin Athlacca pull a rabbit out of the hat, having been well bate by Newcastle three awks ago. I still think Effin will be the team to win it out.

Itâs a long slog; it really is about just doing enough to make the knockout stages and then trying to peak for then.
Almost impossible not to have a disappointing performance or two along the way. We went through the group stages unbeaten one year but had a couple of dodgy performances and were caught in the final whereas Blackrock had a shambolic start but just had pure momentum from the 4th round on.
