O Dalaigh has been really good. I know CON has been given a good run at half back now but Iād still prefer Hayes there. For one CON doesnāt have that same dominance in the air. Still also think we are a different team with Lynch at 11, thatās where he should be if at all possible.
Guaranteed
Madness to love Hayes out of 7 - especially if David Fitzgerald is 10 for Clare
Reckon CON might come in at 11 and alternate with lynch at midfield. Other option is David Reidy.
Iād give Adam English a go at 15
Agree on Hayes at 7. CON being able to play there gives us more flexibility though. Some lads suggesting Hayes midfield but I donāt see that at all. Has CON spent any time at midfield yet (cc @Aristotle)? Really think O Dalaigh is in pole position for Peter Caseyās spot. Not crystal clear that Flanagan will start either based on the league, expect heāll be up and running and starting for most of the championship, but there could be another spot up for grabs for the Clare game. DOD Gillane English?
O DĆ”laigh has done very well and would have no problem with him starting but Iād say Adam English would be the more natural replacement for Peter Casey.
Hayes still in a protective boot, not sure heāll make it.
No heās not.
Heās very little hurling done do. Only the Dublin game really.
O Neill has been probably the best player of the league for Limerick at half back.
It would be a little unfair for him to be moved out of half back and shoehorned in somewhere else.
I thought for a few weeks now Kyle should be at 11. Let him turn and run at Conlon. It would be a huge mis match physically and aerially.
Given he might not have 70 minutes in him I think itās the smartest option. You can always change it around.

I think thatās what kiely will go with
As good a servant as Graeme Mulcahy has been, surely it has to be Oā DĆ”laigh based on the league.
Would agree. Mul got very little league game time
He can always come in v tipp
Any word on OāBrien?
Heās have been a nice option for the 15 jersey
Maybe on paper but O Dalaigh has done better and been more consistent, deserves the start. English hasnāt played as much and been moved around a lot. Itāll probably be based on training which we wonāt see anyway.
Youāve long preferred Hayes at 11?
I think 7 is his first and best position all things being equal, signs on he was selected there his first game back. Good point on him maybe not having a full game in him though, that might be a consideration. On your team below, question marks too whether Finn will be fully up to speed.
