If it could be combined with an indoor event space - why not. The cente could be an indoor sports area - put some local sports teams in there in the evenings.
you wouldnât put it in a dome in the city centre.
Parking - sure where are all the office workers parking for the opera centre. they will be leaving at 6 - ideal!
You should see it at the moment; it manages to slope in both directions and thereâs a certain point where the ball will just roll down for a sideline. I donât know how they play matches on it tbh.
I remember one year a lad agreed to join our club in dublin, he had moved to our area and his club were way off another side of Dublin. He was originally from down Munster direction.
He seemed keen to play with us but was evasive when it came to meeting him on the transfer paperwork and there was a bit of panic on as there was a narrow window for such transfer requests to be submitted
I had it out with him as to what was the issue. The lad was in a bit of a predicament. He moonlighed a bit with the dublin crowd for a year or two while playing @home still and then fell in permanently with the team in Dublin for several years , however a formal transfer form was never filled in meaning he wasnt quite sure what club he should go to sign the release forms!
