Ffs we’re cursed with injuries, thats 2 down before the season has even started

Ah Jaysus

The calendar for all the changes is still crazy.

These boys need a rest at some point.

Is it not better they’re getting injured before the season starts than during it?

A bad state if Adare were beat well by a team who were beat well by Loughmore, looking at today’s showing.

@ciarancareyshurlingarmy another underage title for yer selves. Surely a senior football title incoming.

Mungret winning a senior before Casey’s do put your house on it

You can be sure of it.

Only won 2 this year, 16s and 20s

A down year so.

Losing the 18s final

ABK advanced to the 20s B final after a comprehensive win over Caherline.

5-16 to 2-12

ABK were lucky to lead 2-8 to 7 at half time getting two fairly handy goals. First a mishit shot from OOF ended up exactly where the goalie didn’t want it dropping, just outside his comfort zone and he hesitated. Corner forward did well to run and I think get a flick on it, but either way did enough in his run anyway to fuck up the keeper who was in no mans land for a finish.

Keeper dropped another tricky one under the cross bar straight into the net after and it was game over.

Never looked in doubt second half and the two Caherline goals were late and sloppy enough as well.

OOF scored 14 points I think. Only two frees. He actually hadn’t a great night on frees with the fucking thing on in Mick Neville on a fucking frozen astro pitch that the grass is bate down into a carpet on. While that would make you think it was the OOF show, which it was, he was well supported and they worked hard to find him.

Astro completely false for winter hurling and while it did make it a much better game than it would likely have been on grass at this time of the year. It was also a disaster for lads trying to pick it and take frees off it. And balls ran and ran. Lucky no one took a hard fall on it. I know options aren’t great this time of the year to find a pitch with lights and playable.

Also not a great place to watch a match as everyone is on top of the field. Into a final anyway awaiting the winners of Belville Gaels whoever the fuck that is (bate adare by a point tonight in a playoff) and Granagh Ballingarry Croom. @dodgy_keepers boys pulled a fast one to get that amalgamation down B and will take all the beating by all accounts.

Kieran Guinea reffed it and did a fine job. Best young ref in the county. Could do with finding ten more like him

can you find out who Belville Gaels are?
