There will be no double for monaleen.

Mungret win by 2-7 to 1-8.
Was 2-4 to 0-1 HT, playing to the canal with the wind.

The cementsiders got 2-1 from 4 goal chances and dug in for the second half, overcoming a very harsh black card.
Monaleen only had one proper goal chance and got their goal on a lucky deflection from a long ball.

Great heart and spirit in these youngsters.

Was it on the old field or the floodlit pitch?

The old field

Answer the question you were asked.

A very timely win for Abbeyfeale😅

Dan O’Brien must have bought a fair few tickets

What is the question mate?

Badly needed.

Frank Nelligan must be gone from the club for them to be giving the GAA €100 :joy:

There’s probably some law against that.

Sone win for Murroe/Boher in the 20’s yesterday against Ahane 1-17 0-19 , played 55 minutes with 14 men.

Just back from County Convention in the salubrious surrounds of Na Piarsaigh’s swanky clubhouse….

Not a whole lot went on, more so a review of the year, but there was a couple of things that came up.

Mungret’s delegate lamented the fact Live 95 made zero mention of the cracking U20 hurling final last Sunday week between Bruff & Monaleen. “While 10 minutes was spent in detail on cross channel games”.

There are no personnel changes on the county board committee, but there are two members swapping posts. Ger Corkery is taking Paul Foley’s position of Central Council delegate, while Foley is taking Corkery’s previous post of Planning & Training officer.

Frank said the split season is causing all manner of fixture congestion, but that they will endeavour to do their best to accommodate clubs requests.

Pat Donnelly made mention of S&C coaches starting work with pupils in most secondary schools across the city/county early in the new year.

Finally, hereunder lies a list of motions that will be discussed in January’s meeting……(Motion 7 is from Adare)

Would the south not sort their own shit out FFS. A motion to the county board about their own competition :joy: What are they actually asking there that one of the clubs fucks off?

You caught my attention.

I’m not sure, obviously with seven one club is idle each week. But I don’t see what the real issue is here.

I dont see an issue either… surely it gives more leeway if a team is looking to call off a game
