We can’t really see what next year will bring, but we have at least a 50% chance of winning it next year say. So it’s 50/50 as to whether Limerick will win the five in a row.

No and 22 doesn’t count either as it was July and the split season, we fully accept Tipperary are the reigning champions

I’d probably still give the nod to the all conquering Galway outfit of 2017 who won the last truly great Championship played in September with none of the round robin nonsense involved.

In reality none of Limerick’s recent All Ireland’s* count for much.
