Taxi for @kerry1891

Rathkeale, Askeaton, Castleconnell, Bruff, Patrickswell, Murroe, Kilfinnane ,

They’d all have a population of over 1000 people surely?

Absolute class.

You’d imagine that Seamie Flanagan, being from Feohanagh/Broadford border area would be the prime candidate for being the biggest Roaster, but he’s the coolest bastard you could find. His own fashion label ffs

His new caps are nice actually, Cian Lynch was wearing one in that iconic photo lifting the cup with Hannon

Incredible from the well to produce three hurlers as good as byrnes, Gillane and lynch.

You could double most of those when you take into account hinter lands

What do they get put into on census data?

Would they not be included under the town data if you lived on the outskirts?

Thats what I was thinking they seem kind of townyish lads a lot of them with the tats, ponytails and the invaslign braces etc but I suppose that’s just young lads these days. Roastantic Ireland is dead and gone.

When was the last senior intercounty hurler they produced?

No idea, can’t remember any in my lifetime anyway.

They’re always at it. Carey, Kirby and Barry Foley in the 90s sure. Who had they along with the Bennis’s in the 70s?

Sean foley maybe ?

Sean Foley & Frankie Nolan.

Leonard Enright, the Punches & Foley in 1980.

Brian Murray, Eoin Foley, Barry Foley in 2007.

I doubt eoin foley was on the panel in 07. Possible Paul o Grady was still on it.

Nah he was on it alright, I think Paul would have been gone by then? They did freshen it up a bit in 2007.

That’s from the second replay vs Tipp, I believe.
