Limerick GAA 2023 - League champions means nothing now šŸ

Garryspillane 9/4 with PP?

9/4 with PP, 11/10 with Paddy Mac.

McAuliffe is based down in that direction, doesnā€™t want to be giving too much encouragement to them to lump on.

Them PP odds based on Southā€™s display in last years QF.

Capable of quite a high level when everything goes right; have sometimes struggled to put together a consistent level of performance.

Is there any team sheets for the matches this weekend

Iā€™ll have a go later

I imagine youā€™ll have to buy the programme for Hugh tomorrow, they donā€™t release them online generally (unless individual clubs do themselves). :joy:

I hear Doon are down a load of lads for the weekend with lads on holidays and in America.

Think its slowly dawning on people that playing Club championship in peak holiday season (late July-early August) may not have been the brightest idea in the world. cc @BruidheanChaorthainn @Cheasty @ChairmanDan

Itā€™s the same with every club, but youā€™re right could make a big difference to some results. Very low key buildup with very few challenge matches of any use being played.

Ah sure Doon can afford to lose 3 group games and still cruise into a quarter-final.

Adds to the excitement

Are you bored?

Well this is it.
ā‚¬10 for five matches and a lot of dead rubbers. Bring the wife along and a few drinks after. It turns into a costly affair. I think it might be wise to pick and choose the best competitive matches. What @peddlerscross is saying about Doon could be true, but it could be bull also. Hard to know.

Plenty of time for them to fall flat on their face later in the year

Personally Iā€™m looking forward to a cracking club championship at all grades.

Nothing better than club players getting proper championship matches - 5 group matches in 7 or 8 weeks - in decent(ish) weather.

Good luck to all clubs of TFK posters.

I donā€™t see it with Doon this year. In time English will likely be the best forward in the county and carry them to a county championship as @dodgy_keeper has predicted, but I think thatā€™s a while off yet.
