Limerick GAA 2023 - League champions means nothing now 🐐

You’d bate Doon with your cap.

Will win All Ireland club within 5 years in my opinion.

My locals sources in NCW tell me they’ll be without some key players in the opening 2 rounds and if that’s correct I could see them struggling to beat a dogged Glenroe this weekend

Ease up there horse, they’ll be happy to win Limerick first.

I think Jimmy Quilty being given sole control of all things coaching and Tadgh Hayes understanding the Dooon psyche is a good move. Quilty is an excellent coach and was hindered last year by the Galway camogie man

Will this weekends game go ahead?

Selector -Richie English. It’s hardly the player?

Ger Canning will tell you he’s the older brother of Doon brothers Richie and Adam on the Limerick panel.

Agree with that.

Also Jimmy was double-jobbing last year, he’s left Blackrock this year.

Would Limerick senior championship not be better with 3 groups of 4? Seems very drawn out. More chance of shocks too.

Reducing to ?

No, this is the best format we’ve had.

Having 5 games guaranteed is something we all look forward to. And both teams from the B group put it up to the A teams in the QFs last year, both probably should have won. Building up momentum via a few victories probably gives you the best chance of an upset.

To seriously throw the cat amongst the pigeons I actually think Adam English’s father’s name is Richie

Thats true! That Galway clown had Doon playing a sweeper last yr with a starting defense that had two Limerick seniors plus Tommy Hayes on the extended senior panel plus Mikey O Brien who was on the Limerick senior panel the yr previous plus two current Limerick U 20 starters. I predict Doon to walk it with Big Josh Ryan and Simon to show Kiely the error of his ways.

1 up 1 down so staying at 12.

I meant how does 3 groups of 4 work out for quarter finals etc?

He’s still scratching his head on that one.

That’s what we’ve ended up with after an amalgamation dropped out :confounded:

Go on this lad. A Brazilian I am guessing, living in Limerick.
