 What a schooling. Like Richie Mac on Seamie Callinan back in the day.

Next heā€™ll be telling you the colours came from Nenagh

Any report from Fedamore? Heard it was a poor enough game.

Andrew Brennan got another goal.

It didnā€™t take long for the wagons to circle.

My post has been twisted in order for @Bod95 to score some internet points, which is fair enough (thereā€™s a skill in that) but my point still stands that it was the work of a Tipp man with the help of a few more Tipp men which turned Na Piarsaigh from a Junior Club into the club they are today and the ā€˜new moneyā€™ followers would do well to remember that.

I have no idea how he is an intercounty ref

Abusing yer club game
I was simply pointing out earlier the poor attendances at Limerick club games.

Iā€™m also pointing out EK would still make a difference in 99% of club games.

Reasonable posters like @Aristotle agree with these reasonable points.

These cunts will keep us entertained for the winter.

The bare facts are that the club game in Limerick is an afterthought and is treated very shabbily by the Board.

The county final (which wasnt even shown in any of the pubs in the city btw) was played seven (7) weeks before the Munster club championship last year. Absolutely bizarre stuff.

In 2019 the county final was played off in a hurry so The Big House could flaunt his 5 star resort in Barbados to the county team. Patrickswell players decided to go on this trip instead of preparing properly for their Munster campaign. They went down to Waterford in no fit state and were sent home with tea in their mugs.

I believe the same year there were other county finals played off on Thursday or Friday nights so the county teams holiday could take place.

Will the same happen this year???

We in Tipp value our clubs and are trying our level best to get fairness and equality for our neighbours across the border.

A Limerick team has contested seven of the last ten Munster finals. Maybe Tipp should take a look at Limerickā€™s scheduling.

Tipps club championship record is horrendous for a county with your history. 487 senior clubs, but none of them worth a fuck

it is about as good as you could do with 9 teams Julio, to be honest I think it is a good system aside from it rather rushed

there is a whiff of running the thing off in jig time to clear the decks for the footie

Be interesting to see if Kilgarvan win the intermediate hurling which they should, will they opt to go senior, be 10 teams then

Thereā€™s 16 mate

I have a Miller Shield medal, once a fine competition in Dublin junior hurling circles, no longer exists in dublin, shield \cup competitions scrapped in dublin a few years back in hurling and football

top marks to Bonnar for bringing back the Millar shield even if the naming of the competition is entirely co-incidental in terms of the dublin competition unless both were in honour of the same Miller chap!

The Tipp lads are badly hurting here, the 4 in a row is really going to sting them.
