The Great Man loves Thurles. The helicopter fly’s over my house on the way to landing in Dr. Morris Park.

He used drive a digger down the road from me back in the 70’s when he was a chap.

Jeez it musnt be much of a yoke if its landing there.

The Helicopter badly needs replacing .Its as shook as a bag of skittles.

It landed beside us as we were pulling into Punchestown yesterday. He was in fine fettle.

Between all the Round Robin matches, Fairyhouse and Punchestown, The Great Man would want to be careful he doesn’t go over his allocated number of days he can spend in the country this year.

In 2004/2005? Cork won by 8 points or so in the 2004 final and Kilkenny didn’t even meet them in the 2005 final. Was it that dramatic semi-final against Clare in 2005 that you’re referring to? I do remember a sense that Clare felt aggrieved after it.

I can’t recall too much contention with the ref. From what I recall it was a fantastically disciplined performance from Clare, they didn’t concede a free inside their own 65 the whole game and if I recall correctly aside from a Ben O’Connor sideline all the rest of Corks scores were from play.

Cork’s bench turned the game and Colin Lynch’s radar being off were the deciding factor. Lynch was everywhere that day but hit 5 wides which was huge in such a tight game.

Yes and then flew them back to Kate Browns in Ardfert for lunch

I think they flew the specialist into Ardfert instead

Having torn my hamstring badly before (grade 3-4), I can confirm that the only rehab that worked for me was cycling.
Everything else was mumbo jumbo.
